An unlucky end of the insidiae cup for: Direct Instinct

The insidiae cup which went so nicely in the last matches, has ended for us.
Not due to losing versus #insidiae, but thanks to a problem for which no one is to blaim, well at least not from Direct Instinct.
Two players of our squad, jvO and Archi who live in the same village both had no internet, and after jvO came online at 19.50 (10 minutes before start) there was some hope that everything was going to come allright after all, but unfortanutly jvO dropped out again only a few mins later. So we knew there was a big network problem going around, which resulted in a default loss for us.
Sad end of a nice cup.

Since last week the new Insane Qualities website is live. Da Aap did a great job, instead of using a standard webspell template he decided to put a lot of effort in it by designing it completely by himself.

Comment: direct.Storm Direct Instinct is almost done with the groupstages, we only have VIVID left to play on citystreets as the final match in the groupstage. Because of our wins against Tripox e.V. (13-2 on Vacant), S.pphire Gaming (13-5 on Strike) and Ikosaedri (13-3 on Crash) it is already through to the next round where we will meet the likes of MeetYourMakers, Sample This, Reason Gaming etc.
on a best of 3 maps match (with crash being the 3rd and deciding map in case of a 1-1)

Even though we had to let go of our 2 Iceland players Haukz and Snoozen (bb guys) we keep on winning in the Clanbase Open Spring cup. On one of our favorite maps, Crossfire, we had to play against Bad Boys from Poland. Without problems we were able to grab the match and make it 13-1 to IQ. We're through to the next round and quit anxious about what the future will bring us.
Unfortunately we didn't get to see much action during our last 2 Open Cup matches. Both squads put up a no-show so we're still in the lead to for the first place in our group. Even better: we're more or less through to the next round!
Tonight we've played our 3rd match in the Open Spring Cup. On one of our favorite maps, Vacant we won with 13-5 of L2W (barely legal 69).
We didn't have to knife as L2W let us pick the side. Spetznaz we chose since lately we've been doing better on offense rather than defense. First few rounds were a bit of a struggle but we kept really focused and made it 8-4 to us. On SAS we also did surprisingly well and gained the necessary 5 rounds with nice teamplay.
Keep up the good work guys and we hopefully finish top 3!
We have gone through some rough weather over the past few weeks but the sun is slowly starting to shine again for iq.
With the release of COD4 our COD4 section expanded really fast with old COD2 members and players from the DFX community. At some point we had somewhere around 30 members and it started to become clear that there were huge differences between the 2 communities. These differences unfortunately lead to frictions between players and friends.
To put a stop to this the founder of IQ, Warp, decided to ask killzilla to be the new clanleader, say goodbye to insane qualities and instead of closing down the COD section, start a new squad with guys from the old DFX community: Shades of Grey . They are doing a great job right now in building a new squad and we’re sure it will be a great succes. But we have to admit that we miss you guys on ventrilo.
We have a great respect for warp as this must have been a hard decision after being part and in charge of insane qualities for 9 years!
Anyways, all the best in the world and we’ll surely stay in touch mates
